After working for a month as a legal assistant and a few days as an assistant to a boutique owner, Yogita felt she needed to do something substantial to survive. A decade and a half later, Yogita lives a trucker’s life on the road in between managing the business her husband had left her. She makes long inter-state trips, sleeping and cooking inside her vehicle and using public toilets.
She got her driving licence in 2004 and hasn’t looked back since. She has steered her truck across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra over the past 15 years. Yogita grew up in Nandurbar in Maharashtra with four siblings, earning degrees in Commerce and Law. Her days and nights behind the wheel on the highways.
Her courage and determination towards her work is a live example of nothing is impossible if one is focused in their respective goals, desires and dreams.
